Based in Auckland, freelance Illustrator / Designer Cathy Hansby likes to create engaging, fun and colourful images, capturing the personality and character of native wildlife from New Zealand and Australasia. Her images often feature endangered species, to highlight and remind us how close we are to losing them. How we act now has a huge impact on the future of our wildlife. Stunning, Rainbow Lorikeet live in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and nearby pacific islands. They're found in rainforests, coastal areas and increasingly in urban areas due to loss of their habitat.

Rainbow Lorikeet are often seen in large colourful, noisy groups, high in the treetops. Males and females look almost identical, they pair for life and can live up to 30 years.

Colours are beautiful and bold, with stunning detail popping against the light grey background.
